We offer a wide range of pre-insulated pipe from the industry leading manufacturer Brugg Pipesystems. Available with a range of flexible carrier pipes such as pex or steel to meet the required operating temperature and pressure of the system.
Highest flexibility with efficient heat output for heat pumps or local heating networks.
The innovative FLEXSTAR low-temperature system from BRUGG Pipes is a pre-insulated pipe system with maximum flexibility and stability for heat pumps or local heating networks (with patented production process).
Large area of application:
Heat pumps (air/water heat pumps)
Local heating networks
Heat transfer to individual buildings or renovations
Pipe type: Low-temperature composite system with longitudinal water tightness according to DIN EN 15632-2
Operating temperature: Suitable up to max. 95°C (fluctuating)
Operating pressure: PN 6
Dimensions: UNO DN 20–50
Carrier pipe: PEX | Conformity according to DIN 16892/93 | EVOH oxygen diffusion barrier according to DIN 4726
Outer casing: Corrugated, anthracite, LLD-PE for increased flexibility
Insulation: Polyurethane (PUR)
Very low heat loss and high durability – because we use pressure-injected PUR foam which is fully bonded to the pipe and the casing.
Working Temp: 80°C
Operating Pressure: 6-10 bar
Available in Uno/Duo/Quadriga
Calpex is a flexible, self-compensating, continuous and heat-insulated pipe system with a medium pipe made of cross-linked polyethylene, and can be supplied in rings of up to 807 m in one piece, depending on the dimensions. This largely eliminates underground connection points.
Narrow pipe trenches
Calpex district heating pipes only need 60% of the line width required for plastic casing pipes in the past, and is so flexible that it can easily be adapted to virtually any pipeline conditions. Pipes can pass below or above existing supply lines. The composite system prevents thermal expansion of the medium pipe. No compensating measures (expansion zones) are required underground.
The insulation consists of pentane-blown polyurethane foam (PUR). The excellent lambda value of 0.0199 W/mK achieves exceptional insulation values with a small volume. In the Calpex system, the inner pipe forms a composite together with the insulating foam. In case of pipe damage due to external influences, this means that no cavities are created where water could collect and flow toward the building.
Area of application:
Heat supply pipes, drinking water transportation, drainage/waste water systems, cooling plants, swimming bath technology and agricultural applications are just a few examples from our extensive list of references.
For use at high temperatures
Working Temp: Up to 130°C & 160°C
Operating Pressure: 12-25 bar
Available in Uno/Duo
Casaflex is a flexible, self-compensating, endless production, monitorable and heat-insulated pipe system with a special corrugated steel medium pipe providing excellent heat insulation at high temperatures. The heat insulation consists of CFC-free, flexible PIR rigid foam with excellent heat insulating properties.
The diffusion barrier and the structure of the Casaflex pipe system guarantee minimal heat losses as well as resistance to high temperatures. Operational temperatures up to 130 °C, peak temperatures up to 160 °C, PN 16/25, DN 20-100.
Area of application:
Casaflex house connection pipes are suitable for use in local and district heating networks, in industry and when renewable energies are utilized (including solar technology, wood chips, biomass, etc.).
An energy and cost-effective system for district cooling
Working Temp: -20°C / +40°C
Operating Pressure: 16 bar
Available in Uno
Coolfelx is an insulated pipe system for district cooling, cold water and waste water pipelines with an inner pipe of polyethylene (PE100) and an insulation of CO2 blown polyurethane (PUR). It is suitable for operating temperatures from –20 °C to +40 °C* and for pressure up to PN16. It is a system for main lines, distribution lines and house connections in district and local cooling networks for connection to geothermal sources and the insulated transport of cold water.
Coolflex benefit from our decades of experience with pre-insulated systems. The quality is underlined by the outstanding insulation performance. By using insulation with the best thermal conductivity, we achieve the lowest energy loss. This significantly reduces energy consumption; your investment in district cooling with Coolflex gives a long-term financial benefit!
Coolflex bonded pipes is quick and uncomplicated. The small outer diameters and the long delivery lengths of Coolflex reduce trench dimensions so that installation is quicker. The long delivery lengths of CVCoolflex mean that in many smaller schemes, the pipe can be installed without underground joints. You benefit from fewer joints, quicker installation and greater integrity of the system in use.
A comprehensive range of 100%-tight fittings is available to ensure secure and dependable coupling of Coolflex pipes and connection to other pipes in the overall scheme. The range includes electrofusion welded muffs, pipe couplings and screwed fittings. Coolflex uses a patented clip shell system to re-insulate the joints. These provide perfect protection for branches. The clips mean the shells are quick and easy to fit. They are then filled on site with pentane blown PUR foam.
Components for the Coolflex system are available with short delivery times from stock. The wide range available provides an optimal solution for every project. We even offer short delivery periods for specially manufactured items. The excellent availability of Coolflex products gives you more flexibility with planning and ensures minimum disruption to works on site.
*For warm water use, a reduced operational life and pressure rating applies (according to DIN 8074)
